Post Modernism V&A

Post Modernism has many themes including theatrical themes, elements of complexity, contradiction and defiantly style. This piece by Robert Longo is simplistic in style but very powerful. This image from a series of 'Men in the City' creates different atmospheres. I think this piece demonstrates contradiction because the figure looks likes he is dancing, or maybe about to faint? fit?

Here is another image from the series, again incredibly theatrical and free but is the figure dancing? Falling? In pain?

Here is more from the series. Again I think these figures due to there shape look like they could be in a fight or caught in gun fire. Or are they simply dancing and maybe an influence for apple.
